When you create an account we store your email and (optionally) a display name. Inside the app we store the career profile you build (current role, experience, qualification, location and goal), the routes you save, your skills-gap progress, and your conversations with the AI advisor. We keep a small log of transactional emails we send you (e.g. welcome and plan summaries) for deduplication.
Your data is used only to provide the service: to show your career map, ground advisor answers in your profile, and send the emails you request. We do not sell your data.
You can export all of your data as a JSON file, and permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Account → Data & privacy. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
With your consent we use privacy-friendly product analytics (PostHog, EU region) to understand how the app is used, including session replay with all inputs and text masked. We never record special-category data (e.g. health conditions). You can decline via the consent banner; essential features still work. Lawful basis: consent for analytics and session replay; legitimate interest for core product functionality.
If you start a trial or subscribe, our payment provider (Stripe) processes your card details — we never see or store them. We keep your subscription status and the price tier you were shown.
Some “next step” suggestions (e.g. courses) are affiliate links — we may earn a commission if you sign up, at no extra cost to you. They're chosen for relevance, not commission.
We use Supabase (database & authentication), Anthropic (the AI advisor), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (payments) and PostHog (analytics) to operate the service.
